This Autumn family photoshoot in Bracknell was so full of love. Tara and her family had such an openness about them. Even though her eldest was at that ‘older child’ stage he still cuddled up with his mama and fully involved himself in the games. I often find families are a little nervous about having photoshoots with older kids on board. However this family photoshoot shows exactly how it can flow. I’ve worked with so many personalities over the years and find it fascinating how the outdoors and my activity based approach gently helps children relax and open up, even for those who are not necessarily ‘outdoorsy’ kids.

Take a look below at how gorgeous this November family photoshoot is. It’s one of my fave times to shoot if the temperatures stay fair. This particular session had storm clouds circling the entire time and a 5 minute downpour mid way through the shoot. If you didn’t know, waterproof blankets make great tents! Especially so when the whole family is under there and you are staring at a sunset, a storm and a rainbow all at once! See if you can spot the photo as the rain drops started…
