My first session back after maternity leave and i had the pleasure of photographing some long term friends of ours Kelly, Chris and little Oscar Rafe Eastman-Thompson (awesome name isn’t it!?)
Kelly and I had our pre session planning chat and shared a few pinterest ideas. She loves photos with creamy sun flares and chose a muted pallet for their outfits, jeans and white tee’s. Kelly is SUPER trendy in a classic kind of way so i knew that she would turn up in something amazing, and she did. Her bardot white top popped against her holiday tan and she looked fantastic for having a 7 month old!
(I went out the next day an tried on a cheapo’ bardot top in Dorothy Perkins and looked like a had a mono boob around my waist, there is definitely something you have to get ‘right’ in the cut of these tops – I’m guessing either less boobage or spend a little more to get a decent cut . Kelly’s is from topshop (i should have gone topshop)
Anyhow, being an older baby session a lot of the shoot was focused on the three of them together, capturing them as a family larking about having cuddles and blowing lots of raspberries. I’m chuffed with the outcome of this session and enjoyed putting together their organic wood photo block collection.
I can’t wait for our next session at Christmas and to see this little man grow up! Enjoy.
